Disclaimer

Last updated 18 October 2026

This disclaimer sets out the limits of what Mushroom.casa Grow Log is for. It is short by design and worth reading in full before you rely on anything the application tells you.

Placeholder text pending legal review

This document is a starting point written for clarity, not a legally reviewed agreement. Have a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction review and adapt it before you rely on it.

1. No wild mushroom identification

Mushroom.casa Grow Log does not identify wild mushrooms. It cannot tell you what species you have found, whether a mushroom is safe to handle, or whether it is edible.

Do not use this application, its guides, its glossary or its analytics to make any decision about a mushroom you did not cultivate yourself.

2. No safety determination, no dosing or consumption guidance

The application never determines whether a mushroom is safe. It cannot assess a specimen you have found, and nothing in it should be read as permission to eat, ingest or otherwise consume any mushroom. It provides no dosing information and no consumption guidance of any kind.

The edible mushroom library lists commonly eaten species alongside their general culinary character and the species they are most often confused with. Those labels are broad, editorial descriptions of a species in general. They are not a judgement about any individual mushroom, and they are not a substitute for a determination by a qualified expert who has the specimen in hand.

Content in the guides and glossary is limited to record-keeping, measurement and cultivation practice. Where it touches on species, it does so in terms of growth behaviour, yield and culinary tradition, never as a safety assessment.

3. No medical or health advice

Mushroom.casa Grow Log makes no medical or health claims. Nothing in the application, on this site, or in any communication from us is medical advice, and none of it should be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

If you have a health concern, consult a qualified professional.

4. Cultivation laws vary by jurisdiction

The rules governing mushroom cultivation differ widely between countries, states, provinces and municipalities, and they differ by species. Some species that are lawful to cultivate in one place are restricted in another.

You are solely responsible for checking and complying with the laws and regulations that apply where you live, before you begin or continue any cultivation activity. We do not verify whether any particular use of this application is lawful in your jurisdiction.

5. Projections are estimates, not guarantees

Yield projections and typical biological efficiency ranges are statistical guides drawn from commonly reported figures for each species. They are not predictions about your specific grow.

Substrate composition, hydration, spawn rate, temperature, fresh-air exchange, hygiene and contamination all move real outcomes significantly. No figure produced by this application should be relied on as a guaranteed result.

6. Reminders are not safety alerts

Reminders you configure are general scheduling prompts for routine cultivation tasks such as checking a stage, a flush window, or a misting and fan routine. They are not safety-critical notifications, and they should not be relied on where a missed task could cause harm or loss.

7. Limitation of responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or harm arising from cultivation decisions, contamination events, crop failures, or any use of, or reliance on, the information and calculations provided by this application.

By using Mushroom.casa Grow Log you accept these limits and confirm that you are cultivating lawfully in your jurisdiction.
