Every record a grow needs,
without the busywork

Mushroom.casa Grow Log is a cultivation tracker and grow journal for home growers. It records what you did, calculates what it produced, and shows you which changes actually helped.

A board that matches the way a grow actually moves

Batches move through seven stages: spawn prepared, inoculated, colonizing, pinning, fruiting, harvested and archived. Drag a card between columns and the stage event is recorded with today’s date.

Each stage has an editable typical duration. Batches that have run past it are highlighted so you can decide whether to move them on, rather than the app deciding for you.

Colonizing
  1. Mycelium spreading through the substrate. Keep it warm and dark.

Yield projection and biological efficiency, calculated for you

Enter a dry substrate weight and pick a species to see the projected yield range. When you log harvests, the app divides total fresh weight by dry substrate weight to give you a real biological efficiency figure.

The projection bar and your measured yield appear on the same axis, so you can see at a glance whether a batch is tracking above or below the typical envelope.

The amber marker is your measured yield. Sitting inside the band means the batch tracked with the species typical range.

Analytics that compare things fairly

Harvest weight over time, biological efficiency by species, yield per flush, contamination rate trend, and a ranking of your substrate recipes by measured performance.

Filter the whole dashboard by date range and species. Comparisons are only meaningful within a species, and the app groups them that way.

What the analytics cover

  • Total harvest weight over time (area chart)
  • Biological efficiency by species (bar chart)
  • Yield per flush number (line chart)
  • Contamination rate trend over months
  • Best-performing substrate recipes

Your grow data stays yours

Every table is protected by row-level security, so the database returns your rows to your signed-in session and nothing else. Photos live in a private storage bucket scoped to your own folder.

Export everything as CSV or JSON whenever you want, and delete your account permanently from Settings with a typed confirmation.

Security model in plain terms

  • Each record carries an owner, and the database refuses to return a record to anyone else — enforced by the database itself, not by the interface.
  • Photos are stored in a private bucket. The file path starts with your user identifier, and the storage rules only allow access under your own folder.
  • Subscription status is read-only from the browser. A user cannot grant themselves Pro.
  • You can export or delete everything at any time from Settings.

Full feature list

Everything included in the free plan unless noted. Pro removes the batch and history limits and adds advanced analytics and export.

Drag-and-drop batch board

Move each batch across seven stages — spawn prepared through archived — and see at a glance what needs attention today.

Analytics that answer questions

Harvest weight over time, BE% by species, yield per flush, contamination trend, and best-performing substrate recipes.

Live yield calculator

Enter substrate weight and species, get a projected yield range, and compare it with what you actually harvested.

Contamination tracking

Record contaminant type, affected containers and date. Your contamination rate is calculated per container, not per batch.

Recipe library

Save substrate recipes with exact ingredient weights and tags, then compare their measured biological efficiency side by side.

Stage timeline with progress rings

See how many days each batch has spent in its current stage against the typical duration for that stage.

Flush curves

Chart yield per flush to spot the point where a substrate is spent and a batch is ready to retire.

Photo log with lightbox

Drag photos straight onto a batch, caption them, and view them full screen. Stored privately in your own folder.

Reminders you control

General cultivation reminders for stage changes, flush windows, and misting or fan checks. Email or in-app, your choice.

Installable and works offline

Add it to your home screen. Active batches stay viewable without a connection and sync when you are back online.

Keyboard-first

Command palette on Cmd or Ctrl+K, N for a new batch, H to log a harvest, and / to search. Every action reachable without a mouse.

Your data, exportable

Export everything as CSV or JSON at any time, and delete your account permanently from Settings when you want to.
